as part of a program of formal visits to a number of Iraqi universities. The visit was organized within the framework of strengthening mutual cooperation and fostering the exchange of services, as well as scientific and knowledge-based expertise among universities, in a manner that contributes to the development of academic and cultural work and serves students and researchers.
During the visit, discussions were held on avenues of cooperation and mechanisms for exchanging expertise in library and academic fields, with the aim of enhancing institutional integration and consolidating scientific partnership between the two institutions.
The delegation of the General Secretariat of the Central Library presented a collection of books as a gift to Al-Kitab University, in addition to a letter of appreciation addressed by the Secretary-General of the Central Library in recognition of the warm reception and constructive cooperation.
For its part, Al-Kitab University expressed its appreciation for the visit and, as a gesture of recognition, presented a commemorative shield to the General Secretariat of the Central Library at Tikrit University in acknowledgment of its efforts in supporting scientific and cultural cooperation among Iraqi universities.
