The General Secretariat of the Central Library welcomed a group of students from the College of Pure Sciences, on a field visit aimed at introducing them to the library’s print and digital services, as well as the operational mechanisms adopted in providing information resources to students and researchers.
The visit included an introductory tour of the library’s departments and divisions, during which the students were acquainted with the electronic cataloging system, methods of searching academic databases, and the institutional digital repository. They were also introduced to the electronic services that support research activities in scientific disciplines.
At the conclusion of the visit, the students expressed their appreciation for the high level of organization and technological advancement demonstrated by the library, emphasizing the importance of such visits in supporting and enriching their academic and research pursuits.
