Official Visit to Strengthen Cooperation between Tikrit and Kirkuk Universities
The General Secretariat of the Central Library at University of Kirkuk received a delegation from the General Secretariat of the Central Library at Tikrit University as part of an official visit aimed at enhancing mutual cooperation and exchanging expertise and ideas in library and academic fields.
The visit included a review of the operational mechanisms of the Central Library at the University of Kirkuk, particularly the electronic services available to researchers and students, as well as archiving systems and digital preservation practices. Discussions were also held on ways to further develop services and exchange professional expertise in a manner that contributes to advancing institutional performance.
At the conclusion of the visit, the General Secretariat of the Central Library at Tikrit University presented a letter of thanks and appreciation to the Secretary-General of the Central Library at the University of Kirkuk in recognition of the warm reception and constructive cooperation. In addition, a valuable collection of books was donated by Tikrit University to the University of Kirkuk in support of academic resources and to further strengthen the academic partnership between the two universities, thereby serving the educational and research mission.
